Sponsors and community partnerships power Ignite Conference

The Chamber’s 11th Annual Ignite Conference, being held May 20 at the Ramada Plaza, wouldn’t be possible without dozens of local businesses and community members coming together to support it. We are truly grateful to everyone who supports this event every year.
Legacy Ridge Private Wealth and First Interstate Bank are this year’s Business Champion sponsors of the event.
Legacy Ridge Private Wealth is an independent wealth management firm serving individuals, families, foundations and businesses who value discernment and perspective, according to partner and wealth advisor Susie Garber-Johnson. Their comprehensive approach to planning and investing helps bring clarity to complex financial situations so clients can preserve what matters most for generations to come.
Despite being a new business that launched earlier this year, the Legacy Ridge team has “a long history of supporting the important work that the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce engages in,” Garber-Johnson said, which made sponsoring the conference an easy decision.
“We want to help our fellow businesses thrive,” Garber-Johnson said. “The Ignite Conference is one example of our efforts to support employers and foster employee growth in response to the changing needs of today’s workforce. Over the years, we’ve seen the conference’s importance and beneficial impact, and we’re excited to sponsor the event this year.”
Garber-Johnson said the conference gives attendees valuable information on human resources, leadership development and business strategies, while also being “a wonderful networking opportunity to encourage businesses to collaborate and find synergies to address vital community needs.”
First Interstate Bank is a community bank headquartered in Billings, Montana. It was established on the principles and values of its founder, Homer Scott, Senior, who purchased the Bank of Commerce in Sheridan in 1968. Since then, First Interstate Bank has expanded to over 300 locations across 10 states in the Northwest and Great Plains regions, including two locations in Sheridan.
First Interstate Bank recently celebrated a major milestone of $100 million in total giving since 1990. This achievement reflects 35 years of purposeful investment in the communities the bank serves. They invest in a variety of causes including financial literacy, youth development, disaster relief and nonprofit capacity building, among others.
Other FIB community service programs include their annual Staff Volunteer Day, coat drives, the Mini Bank financial literacy program for schools and their community reinvestment program for low-to-moderate-income individuals and families. First Interstate Bank is a platinum-level community partner of the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce.

Ignite also has 21 Business Success, Business Achievement and Business Growth sponsors this year. This event wouldn’t be possible without all of you!
