Range Gives Thanks: Celebrating Local Businesses and Giving Back to the Community

At Range, being a local business means more than providing reliable communications services. It means being part of the communities we serve, supporting the businesses that help them thrive, and giving back to the organizations making a difference every day. That commitment is at the heart of the Range Gives Thanks program, an annual initiative celebrating local businesses while supporting nonprofit organizations throughout the Sheridan and Buffalo communities.
Now in its sixth year, the Range Gives Thanks program recognizes five local businesses for the important role they play in our communities. As part of the program, each selected business chooses a local nonprofit organization that is meaningful to them. Range then makes a $250 donation to that organization in that business’s name.
The program creates an opportunity to recognize two important parts of the community: the local businesses that contribute to a strong economy and the nonprofit organizations working to make our communities better places to live, work, and raise a family.
This year, we are proud to feature five local businesses: Sheridan Motor, Creekside Dental, Buffalo Vet, Buffalo Mercantile, and Wyo Roots Health. Throughout the program, we’ll be sharing their stories and celebrating the contributions they make to the communities they serve.
In addition to the charitable donation, each participating business receives recognition throughout the month of October. Range promotes each businesses across its social media platforms and through radio shoutouts, helping shine a spotlight on their business and the organizations they choose to support. The honorees are also featured in Range’s November newsletter, extending the celebration to Range customers throughout our service area.
The program is about more than a donation. It’s about saying thank you to the businesses that choose Range as their communications provider and giving them an opportunity to share their appreciation for a nonprofit organization doing meaningful work in the community.
