The ability to clearly and creatively tell your company’s story – whether it’s through public speaking, advertising, customer reviews or strategic partnerships – is key to success. The 11th Annual Ignite Conference on May 19 at the Ramada Plaza will help provide attendees with the tools they need to tell their stories well.

In “Amplify The Applause: Turning Customer Reviews Into Marketing Fuel,” Jason Wille, Chief Marketing Officer with Range, will take participants through a practical session on gathering, responding to and repurposing customer reviews across social media and owned channels. Participants will walk away with practical and easy-to-implement strategies for engagement etiquette, policy review and step-by-step workflows to transform standout testimonials into high impact content that drives trust, conversions and loyalty.

Wille is currently the Chief Marketing Officer with Range, a telecommunications company providing next-generation internet, voice and network services across Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and South Dakota. Working at Range for the past 17 years in numerous capacities, Wille has experience in negotiation, sales, business development, marketing strategy, customer experience and fiber deployment. He is a graduate of the University of Wyoming College of Business.

“Make Your Advertising Fun!” will be led by the marketing team from Sheridan Media Marketing Group including Sales Manager Jim Schellinger, General Manager Bob Grammens, Digital Director Julie Chadwick, and Interactive Media Manager Steven Schreffler. Participants will learn about using unusual ideas in the development of an ad campaign as well as the do’s and don’ts for website, digital, social, video, television, print and billboard design. The return on investment formula and branding questions also will be addressed.

Kristen Masters, graphic designer for Kristen Masters Creative, and Micah Trampe, Head Social Strategist for Search Engines MD, will lead “Grab Your Megaphone.” Attention is the coveted digital currency of potential customers. How do business owners demand attention online, and better yet, how do they keep it long enough, and engage on the right platforms with the right tools to earn a new client, project lead or product sale? If branding is your voice, marketing is your megaphone. In this session, Masters and Trampe will review why an established brand is crucial for standing out from the crowd. Using that as a foundation, they’ll dive into developing a better understanding of digital marketing and teach attendees how to get the most out of targeted ads with practical recommendations.

With over a decade of experience in graphic design and marketing, Masters has combined her roles as an in-house and contract designer, creative strategist, marketing coordinator and artist into a full-time freelance position, managing her own studio for the past five years. Working with businesses and individuals to provide strategic, thoughtful design, Masters continues to develop work for local, statewide and nationally-recognized brands. Offline, you can find Masters involved in various entrepreneurial activities, coaching volleyball or serving on several non-profit boards throughout the community.

Since graduating from the University of Wyoming, business has been a passion for Trampe. Over the past 10 years, he has helped hundreds of businesses across the country see real, quantifiable results using social media to improve sales. He has first-hand experience of what it means to own and run a local business since acquiring Main Frame on Grinnell Plaza in 2020 with his brother, Nathan. When he’s not working on social media strategies, Trampe is desperately trying to convince his wife not to bring home any more animals and wrenching on cars.
