Chamber welcomes new Program Development Director Kimberly Jacobson

The Chamber is pleased to welcome Kimberly Jacobson as its new Program Development Director.
Kimberly comes to the chamber with four years of experience as the Sheridan County YMCA’s Sports Director. She moved to Sheridan from Ventura County, California in 2021 with her husband and two daughters, who are now ages 8 and 10. Prior to moving to Sheridan, she worked as a probation officer for 15 years.
Kimberly was a member of the 2022 class of the Chamber’s Leadership Sheridan County program, and later volunteered as a bus driver for the program. She said her experience in Leadership was transformative, and influenced her desire to work with the Chamber.
“Leadership Sheridan County was such a great way to see all the resources we have in this community, and I really learned so much,” Kimberly said. “I am definitely excited about being part of the future of that program, but the Chamber has so many great programs and I’m excited to be a part of all of them.”
In her spare time, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her family on Wyoming backroads, local parks and fishing spots and frequenting Main Street businesses.
In her role as Program Director, Kimberly is responsible for the development and coordination of programs and events that advance the chamber’s organizational goals and objectives as well as provide overall support services to the Chamber, its committees and CEO Teresa Detimore. She will oversee numerous programs including Business Before Hours, Business After Hours, Chamber Lunch, Leadership Sheridan County, Christmas Stroll, the Ignite Conference, Manufacturing Month and Chamber Coffees, among others.
Please help us welcome Kimberly to the team!
