Crouse to provide advice for ‘when opportunity knocks’

Life is full of leadership opportunities, but how do we know when to open the door and step forward? And how do we prepare ourselves so that, when the right opportunity comes, we are ready to embrace it with confidence? Presenter Jen Crouse will answer those questions and more during her wrap-up session for the Ignite Conference.
Crouse will lead “When Opportunity Knocks: Do I Open the Door” – an engaging and interactive session that will challenge attendees to reflect on their purpose, recognize the work it takes to create leadership opportunities and overcome the fears that hold them back.
Through inspiring stories, real-life examples and reflective exercises, Crouse will guide attendees in evaluating their opportunities – not just based on money or title, but on what truly aligns with their passions and values.
After more than 15 years in healthcare administration, Crouse transitioned into higher education, bringing her wealth of experience to Sheridan College. For the past eight years, she has served as executive director of the Sheridan College Foundation and as vice president of student affairs. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social work and a master’s in business administration. Jen is the author of “Proof God Hears Your Prayers,” a memoir in which she shares her story of survival and resilience.
