Teresa Detimore Named Chamber Employee of the Year by Wyoming State Chamber
SHERIDAN, WY (NOV. 13, 2024) – Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Program Development Director Teresa Detimore has been named the Chamber Employee of the Year by the Wyoming State Chamber of Commerce.
Nominations for the award are accepted from Chambers around the State, and the winner is selected by the State Chamber Board of Directors. The award was announced at the Wyoming Working Together Conference in October in Rock Springs. Detimore was presented with the award at the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce’s Chamber Lunch Program on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024.
The nomination submitted by Detimore’s fellow Chamber staff stated: “Serving our community for 15 years, Teresa is the longest tenured employee at the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce. She has developed many strong relationships within the community, earning her widespread respect for her exceptional talents and composed demeanor. During the critical period while our CEO is out for medical treatment, Teresa seamlessly and confidently stepped in to fulfill her responsibilities and ensure the uninterrupted operation of the Chamber while continuing to excel in her primary role as Program Development Director. Teresa’s leadership and dedication have been a beacon of strength for our entire team. Her unwavering commitment and remarkable ability to handle multiple responsibilities with grace and efficiency make her an invaluable asset to our Chamber and the Sheridan County community. For these reasons and so many more, Teresa is a truly deserving candidate for the Chamber Employee of the Year award.”
The Wyoming State Chamber is comprised of 40 chambers of commerce within the state. The mission of the Wyoming State Chamber of Commerce is to build business in Wyoming through advocacy, education and communication. The WSCC sponsors several programs and initiatives to accomplish this mission and actively advocates for policies that support a healthy business environment throughout the state.
