Meet the Chamber Board: Brady Lewis

For Chamber board member Brady Lewis, volunteering with the Chamber is an opportunity to learn more about a community he’s loved for decades while gaining experience surrounded by local leaders.
“I am always impressed with the many amazing and successful people in this community, and the Chamber brings them all together,” Lewis said.
For the last year, Lewis – the President/CEO of WWC Engineering – has been proud to serve as a Chamber board member. Below, he shares a bit about himself and why the work of the Chamber appeals to him.
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I grew up on a farm in Basin, Wyoming and attended the University of Wyoming to pursue a career in civil engineering. I found an amazing company to pursue my interest and have been with WWC Engineering in Sheridan for 22 years. I’ve been the President/CEO of WWC since 2019 and am very proud to lead the next chapter of the organization.
My wife of 22 years Emily Lewis is a school nurse and my strongest supporter. I have a daughter going to the University of Wyoming this fall and a son in high school at Tongue River High School. We live in the Dayton area, and I enjoy being a part of the small community and volunteering on the fire department.
I am the President of the American Counsel for Engineering Companies (Wyoming Chapter), the WWC board and I were the 2020 Wyoming Small Business Persons of the year, and I am a Leadership Wyoming alumni. I enjoy all of the many outdoor activities in the Sheridan area as long as a friend or family member is with me.
What is your role(s) with the chamber board and/or committees and how long you have been serving on each?
I am filling a term for a departed director and have been on the board for one year. I am a member of the Government Affairs Committee, and I am the board liaison for the Ambassador Committee.
Why do you volunteer for the Chamber and what impact has it had on you?
I volunteer for the Chamber to continue to learn about the community I live in and how I can help support its success. I enjoy meeting new people and building strong networks… I’ve also learned a great deal from the strong Chamber Board of Directors and their very talented and resilient leadership team and staff. They really do an amazing job and should be very proud of what they do for the community.
