Learn More About Wyoming’s Tax Structure
June 28, 2023 @ 7:30 am - 9:00 am
The Chamber’s Government Affairs and Business Retention & Expansion Committees invite you to join them on Wednesday, June 28, for a presentation about Wyoming’s Tax Structure by Ashley Harpstreith, executive director of the Wyoming Taxpayers Association (WTA).
According to WTA, Wyoming has some of the lowest taxes in the nation – and one of the lowest personal tax burdens per capita. With no corporate or personal income tax, state and local governments rely heavily on mineral revenues to keep services afloat.
The presentation will be held at the Best Western Sheridan Center, 612 N. Main St., from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Cost is $20 per person. A light breakfast will be served. Advanced registration is required by 4 p.m. Monday, June 26, so that the Best Western staff can prepare seating and food.
WTA provides a connection and information between the State’s taxpayers and the Legislature. Since 1937, WTA’s mission is to advocate for sound tax policy for a healthy Wyoming economy.
