She has lead the people side of the Weatherby business for the last five years, including the business’ relocation from California to Wyoming in 2019. Among the many focuses that are required when relocating, Weatherby chose to take an innovative look at how they recruit and retain employees. This was coupled with proactive cultural habits to ensure a cohesive and caring environment. With the changing workforce expectations across the country in the last two years, it is important now, more than ever, to look at what and how our businesses can keep employees engaged and thriving.
Whitney Benefits, Inc., was created under the Last Will and Testament of Mr. Edward A. Whitney, a Sheridan County resident, who passed away in 1917. Mr. Whitney directed the corporation to create a student loan program that would help provide men and women with modest financial assistance from the corporation’s income to pursue academic and vocational studies.
