Chamber Lunch Program: From Y to Z: The ABC’s of Attracting and Retaining Young Professionals

$25By 2030, Millennials (Gen Y) and Gen Z are projected to make up more than half of the global workforce, and the combined influence of these two generations is significantly transforming the workplace landscape.
This means that attracting and retaining young talent in the workforce and the community is more important than ever. During the April 10 Chamber Lunch Program, “From Y to Z: The ABC’s of Attracting and Retaining Young Professionals,” a panel of local young professionals will share their priorities, expectations and what type of environment motivates them in their careers.
Panelists include Wade Beavers, Frontier Asset Management; Jessie Dykhouse, FDL Consulting; Jaidyn Hale, Security State Bank; Ian Hamilton, Vacutech; Bri Martin, Advance Therapy; and Casey Terrell, Hirst Applegate Law Firm. Moderated by Laura Lehan of Peak Consulting, the program will be interactive, with the opportunity for attendees to submit written questions for the panel at the program or in advance. The April 10 Lunch Program begins at 11:30 a.m. and will be held at the Historic Sheridan Inn, 856 Broadway.
Cost is $25 per person, which includes the program and lunch buffet. Register early as seating is limited! Online registration ends at 4 p.m. Monday, April 8. In the event that registration is full, you will have the option to be added to the waitlist. Chamber staff will update you if openings become available.
