The Chamber, in partnership with Go Be Wyoming and Manufacturing Works, is releasing a series of podcasts throughout October which will explore local manufacturing. The series will focus on manufacturing career opportunities, training and education, issues that manufacturers are currently facing and why Sheridan is attractive to manufacturers.
The first podcast in our Manufacturing Series, “Why Manufacturing? Success & Opportunity in Manufacturing Careers” is now live!
It’s now time for businesses to register to participate in the annual Sheridan Christmas Stroll. Registrations must be submitted by Friday, Oct. 22, to be included in all event marketing.
Registrations may be completed online here or by downloading the registration packet below and returning it to the Chamber at 24 S. Main St. or via email at info@sheridanwyomingchamber.org.
The 2021 Christmas Stroll will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 26. Main Street and Grinnell Plaza will once again close from 4 to 8 p.m. and feature traditional festivities. Fireworks will conclude the evening.
Stroll button holders will again be able to begin searching for their matching button number Stroll Day and through Christmas Eve. Get Caught Shopping will begin Stroll Day as well.

Leadership Sheridan County is a unique 10-month program of the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce, which broadens the base of quality leadership by inspiring citizens to assume leadership roles while extending their awareness of community affairs/resources and strengthening their individual leadership skills. The program’s first class graduated in 1994.
Anyone age 18 or
over may apply to participate in Leadership Sheridan County. Area businesses,
public and private agencies, civic groups and other organizations are
encouraged to have employees and members of any level apply to participate in
the program. Participants should possess a desire to learn about the history
and the future of Sheridan County, both from an economic and a cultural
perspective.
To be considered for the program, a completed application and essay questions must be submitted to the Chamber by Monday, Nov. 1, 2021. Tickets are now on sale for the Sheridan region’s largest
craft brew festival, the Fremont Toyota Suds n’ Spurs Brewfest on Saturday,
Aug. 28, 2021, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Whitney Commons Park in Sheridan.
The Suds n’ Spurs Brewfest features craft brewers from
several states and the Sheridan region, providing unlimited tastings. Music and
food vendors also will be part of the event.
Tickets are $35 each and may be purchased online at https://bit.ly/36FMz16 or at the door. Must be age 21 or older.
The Fremont Toyota Suds n’s Spurs Brewfest is the major
fundraising event of the year for the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce.
Proceeds from the event go toward the missions of the Chamber’s committees and
other programs and training opportunities for the Sheridan County business
community.

Legacy Diamond & Gems was selected as the grand prize
winner of the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce’s 2021 Sheridan WYO Rodeo
Window Decorating Contest. Hammer Chevrolet was named runner up.
A panel of anonymous judges chose the winners based on the
best use of the theme, “The Sheridan WYO Rodeo Rides Again” and on overall
Rodeo decorations.
Legacy Diamond & Gems received a “WYO Rodeo Bucket of
Fun,” containing four ticket vouchers to the Wednesday Sheridan WYO Rodeo
performance, a signed copy of “Rodeo Time in Sheridan” by Tom Ringley, an
official WYO Rodeo Contestant Back Number, WYO Rodeo Whisky and two Whisky
Glasses, two WYO Rodeo Coozies, two WYO Rodeo Caps, a WYO Rodeo Flask and $75
in Chamber Bucks. Hammer Chevrolet received a WYO Rodeo Whisky Package
containing WYO Rodeo Whisky, two Whisky Glasses, a WYO Rodeo Flask and $25 in
Chamber Bucks. Prizes were provided courtesy of the Sheridan WYO Rodeo and the
Chamber.

such great Sheridan WYO Rodeo spirit,” said Dixie Johnson, CEO of the Sheridan
County Chamber of Commerce. “The judges had a difficult time choosing from so
many well-done displays, and we appreciate all of the creativity and work that
went into them. I highly encourage everyone to get out and see them all.”
