Chamber Welcomes Java Moon Station
SHERIDAN, WY (MARCH 5, 2025) – The Chamber welcomed new member and business Java Moon Station with an Ambassadors’ ribbon cutting on Friday, Feb. 28, 2025. Java Moon Station, located at 1935 Coffeen Ave., is a sister location to the downtown Java Moon coffee shop. Java Moon Station is owned by Megan Cook and Kris Dahl. Pippsino, founded by Sheridan residents Carl and Nikki Steele, is a social enterprise dedicated to empowering nonprofits by generating unrestricted funds to support their missions. The funding primarily comes from annual memberships within the Pippsino community — a collective of individuals sharing the company’s passion for advancing social and environmental causes. Chamber Welcomes Compete for a Cause
SHERIDAN, WY (FEB. 3, 2025) – The Chamber welcomed new member Compete for a Cause with an Ambassadors’ ribbon cutting on Friday, Jan. 31, 2025. Compete for a Cause is a nonprofit organization that hosts a talent competition to raise money for kids in need. The organization was founded in Cody by Brook Grant. For the first time in Sheridan, Compete for a Cause will host a talent show Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Sheridan College. All of the proceeds from the event will go to three-year-old Rylee Scheeler from Ranchester. Rylee was diagnosed with Pompe Disease, a rare genetic disorder that causes progressive weakness to the heart and skeletal muscles.
